Students from North Windy Ridge Intermediate School are planting butternut squash, acorn squash, pumpkin seeds, and much more. Check out this cute video from WMYA MY 40 that highlights the schools new learning garden.

About Project Learning Garden
The goal of Project Learning Garden is to use best practices in garden-based education to increase instructional use of the gardens, deepen nutritional use of the gardens, and directly address the barriers to school garden longevity by teaching educators how to use the garden as an extension of the traditional classroom and a space for STEAM and project-based learning.
