Internship: Renewable Energy Research & Writer

This internship would be focused in the Project Hero program area to develop a new Quest focused on renewable energy technologies and their adoption. This Quest will serve as an educational companion to a forthcoming documentary series, Empowered — serving as a guide and activation platform for educators to engage their students in the content of the film series, and in driving renewable energy solutions forward. 

The person in this position will support research and content development for the Quest, in collaboration with a STEM educator and designer. They will also review the series episodes to pull content, animations, and film segments for use in the Quest.

Timing & Compensation

This internship will be compensated at a rate of $15/ hour for 15-20 hours per week starting in mid-May and extending to early August (exact dates are negotiable). This internship would be considered a contract position and subject to 1099 requirements. 

Location & Logistics

The CPF offices are located in downtown Atlanta with close proximity to Peachtree Station MARTA. If a candidate lives in the Atlanta metro area, we would ask that they come into the office at least once every other week for in-person meetings. If they live outside of Metro Atlanta, we will schedule regular check-ins via Zoom. The intern would need to be able to provide their own reliable computer and internet access (when working remotely), and their own transportation. Housing is not provided.
