Carter moderated the panel and Administrator McCarthy gave the opening remarks. Also on the panel were Katie Ginsberg [Founder/ED of Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation], Patrick Bergin, PhD [CEO of African Wildlife Foundation], and Jose Zaglul [President of Earth University in Costa Rica].
The panel discussed ways their organizations are working with public schools and other formal education entities to deepen the environmental and sustainability curriculum available to students.
