Creative Director
Austin Geter (she/her) first started working with the Captain Planet Foundation team in 2018 as an ongoing creative consultant and contractor. In 2024, she transitioned to become the full-time Creative Director of Captain Planet Foundation.
As a Marketing Specialist & Brand Designer, Austin has crafted innovative and impactful creative strategies that drive exponential growth for international companies, individual brands, and non-profit organizations. She has over 8 years of experience in providing creative and communications leadership, leveraging her expertise in social and brand management, design, videography, and photography.
Austin’s work includes creative direction and leadership for 10+ brands, entrepreneurship starting and leading 4 businesses, and creative expertise for 85+ companies and start-ups worldwide, including UPS, WordPress, The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Captain Planet Foundation, Pexip, Cohley, Ecamm, and Studio Grow.
In addition, Austin serves as the National Communications Director of Stonewall Sports, fostering inclusive and supportive sports environments for LGBTQIA+ individuals as the largest volunteer-led and run LGBTQIA+ focused organization in the United States. This follows a two year tenure as the Director of Outreach and Communications for Stonewall Baltimore, facilitating league-wide growth to a community of 2,000+ strong.
She is passionate about civil and social issues, with a strong focus on the intersection of climate and justice.
