Jacquelyn Terry

Communications Coordinator

Jacquelyn Terry (she/her) serves as the Communications Coordinator at Captain Planet Foundation, where she creates outreach for each of our programs, manages programmatic social media accounts, and tells the stories of our youth through blogs.

She first discovered her passion for storytelling and communications while a student at Georgia College & State University, where she graduated with a BA in Communications in 2020. Her involvement in creative projects, including university theatre, documentary filmmaking, and various web series, led her to an internship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where she honed these skills in a professional setting.

Following college, Jacquelyn worked in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, gaining leadership and managerial experience. Most notably, Jacquelyn was the Media and Communications Intern for Park Pride – an Atlanta-based organization that promotes enjoying and enhancing local green spaces and parks through guided walks, clean-ups, and conferences.

In her free time, Jacquelyn enjoys exploring local parks herself, playing sports such as soccer and tennis, reading, and traveling with family and friends.

Jacquelyn is excited to be joining Captain Planet Foundation and to serve in promoting its brand and mission across the globe.
