In August 2023, LaTyra (she/her) joined the Captain Planet Foundation as the K-12 Program Manager, bringing with her a background in elementary school education and nonprofit. Before becoming a part of the Captain Planet Foundation team, LaTyra thrived as an educator in Riyadh, Saudi Arbia, soaking in the rich experiences and meaningful connections that teaching brought to her journey.
Outside of work, LaTyra finds joy in exploring nature through hikes, baking, and immersing herself in the artistic vibes of performing arts.
