Program Intern
Lilly Carter (she/her) serves as a Program Intern, supporting the Captain Planet team on various programming, outreach, and event logistics.
Currently pursuing a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Sociology and Gender and Sexuality Studies from Vanderbilt University, Lilly is passionate about environmental justice and sustainability, particularly within urban planning. Prior to working at the Foundation, Lilly worked as a Teaching Assistant for various environmental justice and environmental development courses, where she discovered her love for environmental policy and urban development.
Outside of work, Lilly enjoys traveling, rock climbing, spending time with animals, and watching live music.
