Randy Rudderman, MD FACS is the managing director and co-founder of Level Growth, LLC., a management-consulting firm integrating economics, social policy, and sustainability. Level Growth orchestrates certification of agricultural systems in Asia by the Rainforest Alliance and the Sustainable Agriculture Network, and has coordinated efforts with the Wildlife Conservation Society working with government and corporations to protect endangered species in Indonesia.
Dr. Rudderman served on the Board of Directors and as the prior Chairman of the Board of the Rainforest Foundation, US, supporting indigenous peoples, protecting resources and traditions. He is a Senior Trustee of the AO Foundation, Davos, Switzerland, served on the AO international trauma classification committee, and as international co-chair working to develop craniofacial trauma systems used clinically worldwide.
Dr. Rudderman is an Adjunct Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of South Carolina. He directed Micro Med Incorporated as its CEO, a nanotechnology and biotechnology company, holds US Patents on microelectricalmechanical systems, and directed research activities sponsored by D.A.R.P.A., the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency.
Dr. Rudderman participated as a principle investigator in biotechnology research at NASA, redefining facial biomechanics, impacting the understanding of human behavior and evolution and has published articles and book chapters on the biomechanics of facial surgery used for global education, lecturing in North America, Europe, and Asia to thousands of practicing surgeons.
Dr. Rudderman orchestrated the construction of one of the first LEED certified facilities of its kind in North America, and has developed new standards for verifiable sustainable office design and construction. He currently lectures on sustainable environmental health in schools, institutions, and internationally recognized wellness centers. He is the managing director of IAN, LLC, working to develop environmentally socially responsible low glycemic food products for clinical and commercial application, and coordinating with international NGOs and foreign governments in Asia to establish economically stable co-ops, support infrastructure, education, health care, and micro banking in small to medium size villages.
Dr. Rudderman is a Trustee for the Schenck School in Atlanta, educating those with dyslexia. He serves as the science advisor to the Board of Directors of the St. Marys Riverkeeper Alliance on the Georgia Florida border, working to remediate and protect the river basin.
He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He completed his undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University and the University of Florida.
