Wisdom Council
I am Samba Gaye from the Gambia– a passionate youth leader and environmental activist who grew-up in rural Gambia. I began my education at Bansang, where I completed basic and secondary education with academic results, demonstrating discipline and commitment. In 2023, I joined the great Planeteer Alliance and became active in mobilizing awareness about the dangers of climate change and plastic pollution at large. I hosted many Meetup activities, calling young youths through discussion methods about the dangers of plastic and climate change. In 2025, I was supported with a grant by Planeteer Alliance to host the plastic pollution Summit at Kaur to address the growing challenge of plastic in my area.
