Announcing the Winners of the PLG Rejuvenation Grants!

In 2022, Captain Planet Foundation celebrated 10 years of Project Learning Garden by launching a special Garden Rejuvenation Grant Fund! Generously funded by Turner Foundation, Cox Enterprises, and FedexCares, the fund provides up to $1000 in new garden beds, soil and amendments, composting stations, garden sheds, irrigation systems, and/or other materials that bring a garden back to life. 

After a decade, there are nearly 700 Project Learning Garden schools across the US, and we know many of them are starting to show their age. Schools who received the PLG grant in 2016 or earlier were eligible to apply for a Project Learning Garden Rejuvenation Grant. Another round of Rejuvenation Grants will be awarded this Spring. Interested schools can begin applying here.

We are pleased to announce that the first round of grants were awarded to the following 43 schools:
