In September 2015, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, the animated environmental cartoon, will celebrate its 25th birthday. One year later, in December 2016, Captain Planet Foundation will celebrate its 25th Anniversary!
Since the excitement of these very special anniversaries should extend beyond one night – we are celebrating for a whole year!
In place of a 2015 Benefit Gala, this year Captain Planet Foundation is hosting the 25th Anniversary Celebration Series – seven (7) events in multiple cities honoring the organization’s incredible growth, deeply impactful programs, and national & international reach.
The 25th Anniversary Celebration Series will bring together many of our dedicated partners: national and international environmental non-profits; prominent global chefs; surprise celebrity guests; organic, local and delicious food & wine; and opportunities for engagement and participation at any level.
Ultimately, these events will lead up to a very special 25th Anniversary Benefit Gala to be held next year on Friday, December 9, 2016.
