Planeteer Alliance’s Season of Solutions is officially LIVE! Season of Solutions is a crowdfunding campaign, aiding Planeteers in their quest to identify climate injustices in their communities and develop actionable plans to address them.
As an established global non-profit organization, Captain Planet Foundation promotes these campaigns to major funders and stakeholders. Additionally, the Planeteer Alliance will match the funds you raise with up to an additional $200 while funds last, thanks to the Laura Turner Seydel Living Legacy Fund. But ultimately, the Season of Solutions is about YOU, and giving you the opportunity to directly fund the campaigns and causes that mean the most to you.
This year, Planeteers interested in this opportunity underwent a rigorous application process where they were asked to consider how their campaign addresses a key problem in their community. We challenged applicants to break down their goals through various benchmarks and pitch how this solution encourages environmental justice.
Through the application process, Planeteers utilized the skills they have developed in the Planeteer Alliance to pitch and budget their campaigns. And as a result of the Planeteers strong commitment to these issues, Team Planet reviewed countless high-quality submissions from Planeteers across the globe.
After a comprehensive interview process, Planeteer Alliance is happy to announce that eight campaigns from teams across four countries were accepted to the Season of Solutions. Each of these teams developed detailed and impactful campaigns that creatively and meaningfully addressed key issues in their communities.
