7th grade students at Rockway Middle School learned the importance of accelerating the growth of corals and how to test the quality of ocean water, the important aspects of good water quality, the essential aspects of coral reef biology, nutrition, threats, and benefits on their journey to help save the corals.
Continuous impact/Community engagement:
This program will continue to help children at Rockway learn about their environment and multiple fields of science as well as researching and implementing ways to advance coral growth.
