You are never too young to care about the environment! Meet Sophia and Liam, two 11-year-olds from Mcdonough and Marietta, GA that have signed up for a major task: eliminating the use of plastic straws in restaurants.
To do so, Sophia and Liam have partnered with Kids Boost, an organization that helps young children make waves of change in their communities and in the world.
They are also raising money for the Captain Planet Foundation and to sponsor students to attend the #OceansHero Bootcamp in New Orleans, LA on June 2nd – 4th!
To raise the $10,000 to do this, Sophia and Liam are hosting their #LOL (Let Oceans Live) FUNDation Dance Party on May 19th. The first 100 people to register will receive a swag bag full of fun and eco-friendly goodies!
To register for their event, you can follow the link here. If you can’t make it to the dance party, but still want to support Sophia and Liam and help them reach their goal, click here.
