Before we release these materials, we’ll ask your school to submit a simple Garden Planner, a brief template that will help you share your school’s plans for the receipt, storage, and implementation of grant materials.* I understand I will be asked to submit a Garden Planner before grant materials are released, and I agree to do so. Some winning schools will be asked to participate in a media event and workshop or school assembly, hosted on your campus. This event will highlight your school’s learning garden and other awesome outdoor learning initiatives. Attendees will participate in a taste test with representatives from Dole Packaged Foods, the sponsoring retailer, Captain Planet Foundation (CPF), and supporters from your local community. In addition, CPF may offer a workshop for participating teachers and/or an introductory assembly for a wider school audience.* I understand that I may be invited to participate in a media event held on my school campus. Captain Planet Foundation may offer a free workshop and/or assembly in conjunction with this media event. I am prepared to accept these invitations. If your site hosts a media event, we will honor your school’s policies and parents’ preferences regarding the sharing and release of student images. We can provide release forms for this event if necessary. Does your school collect media release information for every student?*NoYes
