Creating a Sun Map of the Garden

Students Will Use Their Garden To Chart and Create Sun Maps

This activity that can be completed in stages. Take your young cartographer outside to create a map of your garden or any outdoor space. When your map is complete, use colors and observations over the course of a day to record the sun’s path as it travels overhead. Consider mapping multiple spots to find the best area to plant your Spring garden!
