The Atlantan recently interviewed Jerome Foster II, our 30th Anniversary Gala Young Hero for the Earth Award winner. He is unapologetic, passionate and focused in his pursuit for environmental justice for all. The 19-year-old serves as White House Climate Advisor, and his mission centers around ensuring that Black and Indigenous communities reclaim sovereignty over lands colonized and stolen from their ancestors. He’s also fighting for clean water, clean air and a thriving environment around the world.
