The Captain Planet Foundation is proud to be one of the many Atlanta Science Festival sponsors. As a sponsor we will host an educators workshop and interactive booth at the Exploration Expo in Centennial Olympic Park. We hope to expand the communication around science education and engage the public in activities related to STEM education.

ECO-TECH: Integrating Technology with Environmental Project-Based Learning

Have you ever wanted to engage your students in hands-on engineering challenges, use technology in project-based learning, and integrate innovative thinking into outdoor learning? If you’re in the Atlanta area, join us for a free, day-long professional learning workshop on Saturday, March 22, at Captain Planet Foundation World Headquarters. Before the day is over, you will have used a GPS unit to locate plants, built an observation buoy, discovered ten of the coolest new apps for outdoor learning activities, and incorporated engineering and technology into exciting hands-on STEM lessons. Click here to learn more
