In 2014, NYC H2O began offering free Water Ecology and Engineering Field Trips to New York City public schools. They’ve reached out to over 7,900 students, and are working to expand even further!
The field trips are packed with hands-on activities – such as “Gravity tubes” and bird watching – designed to teach the students engineering and water ecology, using large-scale maps, binoculars, straws, cups and more.
Continuous impact/Community engagement:
NYC H2O will continue to engage students of NYC Public Schools in fun, educational field trips and encourage the students to learn more about the environment around them.
