In 2022, Captain Planet Foundation celebrated 10 years of Project Learning Garden by launching a special Garden Rejuvenation Grant Fund! There are more than 700+ Project Learning Garden schools growing across the US, and we know many of them are probably starting to show their age. We want to make sure we support PLG garden spaces to keep growing for years to come, so the Garden Rejuvenation Grant Fund will provide materials & resources to invest in the schools who have made Project Learning Garden effective for outdoor learning.
Schools who received the PLG grant five (5) or more years ago (installed in 2018 or prior) and the garden is still being actively used are eligible to apply for a Project Learning Garden Rejuvenation Grant. Each selected school will receive a one-time investment of up to $1000 in new garden beds, composting systems, irrigation systems, soil & amendments, and more to rejuvenate their garden space.
