This recipe will teach kids how to move away from canned, sugary drinks, and towards a healthy alternative with the same satisfaction.
Cucumbers are a rich source of Vitamin K & Molybdenums.
3 slices cucumber
2-4 mint leaves
1-2 Tbsp. sugar, simple syrup, mint syrup, agave nectar, honey,
or other sweetener (plus more to taste, if you like)
1 tsp. fresh lime juice
About 6 oz. club soda or seltzer water
Wooden spoon or muddler
Knives or cutters
Glasses or cups
- For each soda, put cucumber slices, mint leaves, sugar or other sweetener, and lime juice in glass.
- Muddle or crush these ingredients with a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon.
- Add soda, taste, and add more sweetener, if you like.
- Add ice and serve immediately.
