Rosemary, although not rich in one particular nutrient, is used as an anti-inflammatory, to stimulate the immune system, increase circulation, and improve digestion.

Recipe time: 30 minutes


3 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups raw almonds


Measuring utensils
Mixing bowls
Mortar and pedestal (to grind herbs)


  1. Melt butter in a large skillet pan.
  2. Mix seasoning into the butter, and then toss in almonds.
  3. Cook seasoned nuts for about 10-12 minutes, stirring once, until toasted and fragrant.
  4. Remove from heat and serve warm or at room temperature.
