We're Going on a Bug Hunt!

Students Will Observe and Identify the Bugs in Their Area

Get to know your 6-legged neighbors on a bug hunt! Young explorers will scan the yard on a hunt for insects and other creepy crawlies. Safely capture a few – or use a camera to snap their photos – then research to learn about some of the insects that share your address. Who’s eating what? Which bugs are beneficial? Turn your findings into a field guide. Don’t forget to release the critters you capture!
