Description:
Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s LLALC project provides students with lessons that they can share with their families about how to keep their waters clean and safe from pollution and why it is important to use water efficiently. On board a 40-foot catamaran on Lake Lanier, students learn about the science behind a watershed, how to measure water quality through hands-on experiments, and how they can protect the quality and quantity of that water.
Continuous impact/Community engagement:
Using their new-found knowledge about their watershed, students can help protect the environment and impact others to do the same.
