Sydney Langdon serves as Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Warner Bros. Discovery where she is responsible for charitable contributions, grantmaking, and nonprofit partnerships, as well as employee community engagement and volunteerism. A proud Atlanta native with a 15+ year career in social impact, Sydney has held past roles in development with The Posse Foundation and in nonprofit consulting with Coxe Curry & Associates. Sydney was recently recognized with the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Atlanta Chapter’s 2024 Philanthropic Leader of Tomorrow Award; the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Atlanta’s 2024 Ann Cramer Civic Leadership Award; and as a 2023 Top Practitioner for the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Leaders in Corporate Citizenship Awards. Sydney serves on the board of the Captain Planet Foundation and the Center for Puppetry Arts (Executive Committee & Development Chair), and is a three-time co-chair of the Center for Puppetry Arts’s annual String Fling Gala. In addition, Sydney is a former board member and Past President of the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) of Atlanta, a past board member of the Central Outreach & Advocacy Center, and a member of LEAD Atlanta’s Class of 2016. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in media & communications from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music. Sydney also received a Masters of Arts Management from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from SMU’s Cox School of Business. Sydney lives on Atlanta’s Westside with her husband and two young daughters.
