Captain Planet Attends Cox’s Zero Waste to Landfill Event

On September 3rd, the Captain Planet Foundation Team attended Cox Enterprise’s “Let’s Talk Trash” Zero Waste to Landfill Celebration in Atlanta, Georgia. 

This event celebrated Cox Enterprises reaching their zero waste to landfill goal which focused efforts on waste reduction, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships for electronic waste. Various environmental organizations were invited to connect with Cox team members and discuss sustainability efforts. 

Cox team members spent the afternoon connecting, celebrating their sustainability efforts, and learning from local organizations. Awards were given to team members who exemplified the Cox sustainability standards, highlighting their hard work and dedication.

The Captain Planet Foundation team was present at the event to represent youth environmental efforts and offered an opportunity for individuals to become problem solvers for the planet. They had a great time connecting with attendees and sharing the work that Captain Planet Foundation has been doing to empower young people across the globe.
