Lakeisha is an award winning strategist, public policy advisor, and management consulting executive with global experience working with governments, multilateral entities, nonprofits, foundations, higher education institutions, social enterprises and diverse businesses. She is a first generation Sierra Leonean-American and was born and raised in Georgia, where she received a B.A in International Studies from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Public Administration Degree with honors from Kennesaw State University’s school of Government and International Affairs.

Lakeisha is currently a Management Consulting Executive in Accenture LLP’s Strategy & Consulting Public Service Practice. Accenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services. In her role, Lakeisha provides strategic advisory services and manages complex and transformational projects for state, local, and municipal governments, higher education institutions and nonprofits across the U.S.

Over her career, Lakeisha has worked in over six countries and has served clients such as the United Nations, the European Union, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Chic-fil-a, the Georgia Institute of Technology and many other federal and state agencies, local governments, and nonprofits. 

Lakeisha has a broad base of professional skills with specializations in business strategy, operational excellence, public and community engagement, complex program and project management, grantmaking and grant management, strategic partnerships, growth strategy, change management, communications, research, analysis, design thinking and creative storytelling. Over her career, Lakeisha has designed, implemented and managed numerous, successful initiatives, projects, programs, policies, and campaigns that vulnerable and socially disadvantaged populations across the world.

Lakeisha’s passion for the environment and youth stems from her early career work in education, sustainable agriculture and food security. Lakeisha has performed extensive research on local food systems and the intersection of sustainable agriculture and public health through her work with organizations such as the Global Growers Network, the Georgia Farmer’s Market Association, Truly Living Well Center for Urban Agriculture and Wholesome Wave Georgia. At Accenture, in addition to her role, Lakeisha is the Atlanta Corporate Citizenship Lead and Executive Sponsor for the Sustainability impact area where she steers and oversees the firm’s community investments in environmental sustainability, anti-human trafficking, youth empowerment, workforce development and social inclusion.

Lakeisha currently lives in Atlanta and enjoys art, travel, cooking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
