Pollinator Quest now available on Project Hero

Pollinators of United States need your help!
Spring is in the air, and that means pollinators are buzzing about, helping pollinate the plants around us! But pollinators are in trouble and they need your students’ help. Join the Pollinator Quest today on Project Hero, a program of the Captain Planet Foundation, and help your students become heroes for pollinators in your community this spring!

The Pollinator Quest is available for all locations in the United States, and is standards aligned (NGSS) for grades 3-5. Young heroes will embark on a Quest to explore pollinators that live around them, understand what is threatening them, and design and implement a project to help them. Small grant funds are available to help with the material costs of projects for classes that register for the Quest and submit feedback and data at various checkpoints.

About Project Hero
Project Hero is a free web-based platform developed by the Captain Planet Foundation that guides young people on a problem- and project-based learning journey to understand problems facing our planet, leading to the design and implementation of a hands-on project to make a meaningful difference. The different Quests available through Project Hero are focused on different environmental challenges and are targeted at different geographic regions and grade bands. The platform does not require any student logins, but educators are encouraged to sign-up for a free account that qualifies you for small grant funds to support your group’s Quest.
