Let it grow: Three schools get gardens

How’s it growing?
Students at three local elementary schools will get the opportunity to get hands-on gardening experience and learn how to use what is grown as part of the Captain Planet Foundation’s Project Learning Garden.
On Friday, volunteers from the Brookshire’s on North 18th Street in Monroe, including store director Sharon Boyett, built five raised beds at Sallie Humble Elementary School. Read Full Article
