Identifying Decomposers

Students will learn how to identify decomposers.

Students will search for and analyze fungi outside.

Students will make a wind vane to measure wind direction.

Students will make an anemometer to measure wind strength.

Students will build a kit to explore how to work with objects in relation to the wind.

Students will make a barometer to measure air pressure.

Students will use math to plan and design their square foot garden

Students will to learn how to use a sun dial to tell time.

Students will investigate the position of the sun in relation to a fixed object on earth at various times of the day.

Students will determine how the shadows change through the day by making a shadow stick or using a sundial.
