Searching for the Cause and Effects of the Dust Bowl

Students will research and analyze the cause and effects of the Dust Bowl

Students will learn about society and farming in the 1930s during the Dust Bowl.

Students will demonstrate how static electricity attracts dust.

Students will take their understanding of soil erosion to explore conservation solutions

Students will learn about animal adaptations.

Students will further explore animal adaptive traits.

Students will learn about and search for plant adaptations in the garden.

Students will diagnose and treat unhealthy plants; look for evidence that plants respond to outside influences; and correctly identify plants’ needs.

Students will explore, chart, and analyze the effects of seed spacing in their garden.

Students will observe and identify bugs in their garden.
